Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2017 a collector was able to acquire the work Blessing of the Forest by Keiichi Tanaami for GBP 125.00 (€ 142.35). This price was achieved in the auction Evening & Day Editions at Phillips in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Keiichi Tanaami achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Feast With Skeleton in May 2019 with an auction result of HKD 687,500.00 (€ 78,684.19).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2017 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Blessing of the Forest von Keiichi Tanaami für GBP 125,00 (€ 142,35) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Evening & Day Editions bei Phillips in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Keiichi Tanaami erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Feast With Skeleton im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 687.500,00 (€ 78.684,19).
