Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Keiichi Tanaami could be acquired at Phillips in New York in October 2016 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Evening & Day Editions auction, the work Blessing of the forest changed hands for USD 2,250.00 (€ 2,052.55) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Keiichi Tanaami achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Feast With Skeleton in May 2019 with an auction result of HKD 687,500.00 (€ 78,684.19).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Keiichi Tanaami konnte im Oktober 2016 bei Phillips in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Evening & Day Editions wechselte die Arbeit Blessing of the forest für USD 2.250,00 (€ 2.052,55) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.500,00 – 3.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Keiichi Tanaami erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Feast With Skeleton im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 687.500,00 (€ 78.684,19).
