Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2019 a collector was able to acquire the work Madly Dancing Goldfish by Keiichi Tanaami for HKD 250,000.00 (€ 28,995.37). This price was achieved in the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art Afternoon Session at Christies in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 280,000.00 – 380,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Keiichi Tanaami - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Feast With Skeleton, which sold at auction in May 2019 for HKD 687,500.00 (€ 78,684.19).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2019 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Madly Dancing Goldfish von Keiichi Tanaami für HKD 250.000,00 (€ 28.995,37) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Afternoon Session bei Christies in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 280.000,00 – 380.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Keiichi Tanaami mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A Feast With Skeleton beobachtet, die im Mai 2019 für HKD 687.500,00 (€ 78.684,19) versteigert wurde.
