Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Hoogeschoolrijder by Kees Maks was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in May 2011. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 9,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 9,375.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kees Maks achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Dutch Tuinscene - Garden Scene in December 2008 with an auction result of EUR 144,750.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Hoogeschoolrijder von Kees Maks kam im Mai 2011 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 9.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 9.375,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kees Maks erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Dutch Tuinscene - Garden Scene im Dezember 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 144.750,00.
