Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kees Maks achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Dutch Tuinscene - Garden Scene in December 2008 with an auction result of EUR 144,750.00.

Die Arbeit Elegant lady with hat von Kees Maks kam im Juni 2017 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 3.250,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 63 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kees Maks erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Dutch Tuinscene - Garden Scene im Dezember 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 144.750,00.
