The result of EUR 10,000.00 was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kees Maks achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Dutch Tuinscene - Garden Scene in December 2008 with an auction result of EUR 144,750.00.

Die Arbeit Excentrique Dansers von Kees Maks wurde im Juni 2014 in der Auktion Modern Art bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 10.000,00 entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kees Maks erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Dutch Tuinscene - Garden Scene im Dezember 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 144.750,00.
