The work Disconnect (Triptych) by Justin Ponmany was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2007. It achieved a price of HKD 456,000.00 (€ 43,420.50), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 30%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Justin Ponmany - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Staple agony - II (Plastic Memory), which sold at auction in June 2008 for GBP 109,250.00 (€ 138,095.66).

Die Arbeit Disconnect (Triptych) von Justin Ponmany kam im Mai 2007 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 456.000,00 (€ 43.420,50) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 30%. Für andere Arbeiten von Justin Ponmany mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Staple agony - II (Plastic Memory) beobachtet, die im Juni 2008 für GBP 109.250,00 (€ 138.095,66) versteigert wurde.
