Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2011 Phillips in New York held the auction Contemporary Art Part II, which included the work Study for Self-Portrait as Bush by Julie Heffernan. Here, the upper estimate of USD 9,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 9,375.00 (€ 6,521.29). Admittedly, works by Julie Heffernan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Self Portrait As Arms And The Men in May 2012 with an auction result of USD 56,250.00 (€ 45,494.99).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai 2011 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Contemporary Art Part II durch, in der auch die Arbeit Study for Self-Portrait as Bush von Julie Heffernan zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 9.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 9.375,00 (€ 6.521,29) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Julie Heffernan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Self Portrait As Arms And The Men im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 56.250,00 (€ 45.494,99).
