The »bidding war« ended at GBP 4,375.00 (€ 4,824.15), 46% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Judy Dater - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Imogen and Twinka at Yosemite, 1974, which sold at auction in February 2008 for USD 15,000.00 (€ 9,876.87).
