Auction result well in line with expectations
The work 'Nehemiah' by Judy Dater was auctioned at Bonhams in London in July this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 500.00 – 1,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 512.00 (€ 464.61) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Judy Dater achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Imogen and Twinka at Yosemite, 1974 in February 2008 with an auction result of USD 15,000.00 (€ 9,876.87).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit 'Nehemiah' von Judy Dater kam im Juli diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 500,00 – 1.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 512,00 (€ 464,61) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Judy Dater erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Imogen and Twinka at Yosemite, 1974 im Februar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 15.000,00 (€ 9.876,87).
