Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Imogen and Twinka at Yosemite by Judy Dater was sold in the Photographs auction at Phillips in London in May this year. The price achieved of GBP 3,810.00 (€ 4,432.96) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Judy Dater - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Imogen and Twinka at Yosemite, 1974, which sold at auction in February 2008 for USD 15,000.00 (€ 9,876.87).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Imogen and Twinka at Yosemite von Judy Dater wurde im Mai diesen Jahres in der Auktion Photographs bei Phillips in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.810,00 (€ 4.432,96) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Judy Dater mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Imogen and Twinka at Yosemite, 1974 beobachtet, die im Februar 2008 für USD 15.000,00 (€ 9.876,87) versteigert wurde.
