In October 2008 Sothebys in New York held the auction Photographs, which included the work 'Imogen And Twinka At Yosemite' by Judy Dater. The result of USD 5,000.00 (€ 3,942.60) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Judy Dater - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Imogen and Twinka at Yosemite, 1974, which sold at auction in February 2008 for USD 15,000.00 (€ 9,876.87).

Im Oktober 2008 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit 'Imogen And Twinka At Yosemite' von Judy Dater zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 5.000,00 (€ 3.942,60) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Judy Dater mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Imogen and Twinka at Yosemite, 1974 beobachtet, die im Februar 2008 für USD 15.000,00 (€ 9.876,87) versteigert wurde.
