Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work La Pieza de la Rane by Juan Muñoz was sold in the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale auction at Phillips in London in March this year. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 50,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 50,800.00 (€ 57,794.81). Admittedly, works by Juan Muñoz have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in May this year with an auction result of USD 403,200.00 (€ 378,449.41).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit La Pieza de la Rane von Juan Muñoz wurde im März diesen Jahres in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale bei Phillips in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 50.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 50.800,00 (€ 57.794,81) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Juan Muñoz auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 403.200,00 (€ 378.449,41).
