Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A Fortuna's Dreamer by Juan Muñoz was auctioned at Christies in London in February 2004. It changed hands for a price of GBP 59,750.00 (€ 89,209.57) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by Juan Muñoz have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in May this year with an auction result of USD 403,200.00 (€ 378,449.41).

Die Arbeit A Fortuna's Dreamer von Juan Muñoz kam im Februar 2004 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 59.750,00 (€ 89.209,57) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 40.000,00 – 60.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Juan Muñoz auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 403.200,00 (€ 378.449,41).
