Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Cabeza de Enano by Juan Muñoz was auctioned at Phillips in London in July this year. The price achieved of GBP 8,890.00 (€ 10,371.94) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Juan Muñoz achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in May this year with an auction result of USD 403,200.00 (€ 378,449.41).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Cabeza de Enano von Juan Muñoz kam im Juli diesen Jahres bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 8.890,00 (€ 10.371,94) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 7.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Juan Muñoz erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 403.200,00 (€ 378.449,41).
