Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2020 Christies in Paris held the auction Get Art ! A 20th Century Escape, which included the work Untitled 13-79 by Juan Genovés. The price achieved of EUR 5,250.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Juan Genovés achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Columna I in November last year with an auction result of USD 151,200.00 (€ 146,469.05).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2020 führte Christies in Paris die Auktion Get Art ! A 20th Century Escape durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled 13-79 von Juan Genovés zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 5.250,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Juan Genovés erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Columna I im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 151.200,00 (€ 146.469,05).
