In December 2019 Christies in Paris held the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art vente du jour, which included the work Presto by Juan Genovés. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 81,250.00 35% above the upper estimate. Other works by Juan Genovés have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 151,200.00 (€ 146,469.05) in November last year for the work Columna I.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 35 % übertroffen
Im Dezember 2019 führte Christies in Paris die Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art vente du jour durch, in der auch die Arbeit Presto von Juan Genovés zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 81.250,00 und damit 35% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Juan Genovés haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von USD 151.200,00 (€ 146.469,05) im November letzten Jahres für die Arbeit Columna I beobachtet.
