Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Mud by Josh Reames was sold in the New Now auction at Phillips in New York in September 2017. Here, the upper estimate of USD 5,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 5,625.00 (€ 4,761.70). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Josh Reames - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Westest, which sold at auction in April this year for HKD 11,970.00 (€ 12,223.71).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Mud von Josh Reames wurde im September 2017 in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 5.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 5.625,00 (€ 4.761,70) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Josh Reames mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Westest beobachtet, die im April diesen Jahres für HKD 11.970,00 (€ 12.223,71) versteigert wurde.
