Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Hers by Josh Reames was sold in the New Now auction at Phillips in New York in September 2018. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 3,250.00 (€ 2,796.42) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Josh Reames have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Westest in April this year with an auction result of HKD 11,970.00 (€ 12,223.71).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Hers von Josh Reames wurde im September 2018 in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 3.250,00 (€ 2.796,42) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Josh Reames auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Westest im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 11.970,00 (€ 12.223,71).
