In June 2020 Christies in New York held the auction Virtue, which included the work The Wizard by Josh Reames. The »bidding war« ended at USD 1,250.00 (€ 1,112.99), 25% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Josh Reames achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Westest in April this year with an auction result of HKD 11,970.00 (€ 12,223.71).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Im Juni 2020 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Virtue durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Wizard von Josh Reames zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 1.250,00 (€ 1.112,99) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Josh Reames erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Westest im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 11.970,00 (€ 12.223,71).
