Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2020 Phillips in an online auction held the auction Phillips x Artsy: Endless Summer, which included the work Half by Josh Reames. The price achieved of USD 3,750.00 (€ 3,200.20) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Josh Reames - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Westest, which sold at auction in April this year for HKD 11,970.00 (€ 12,223.71).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2020 führte Phillips in einer Online-Auktion die Auktion Phillips x Artsy: Endless Summer durch, in der auch die Arbeit Half von Josh Reames zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 3.750,00 (€ 3.200,20) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Josh Reames mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Westest beobachtet, die im April diesen Jahres für HKD 11.970,00 (€ 12.223,71) versteigert wurde.
