The work Ceremony by Joseph Glasco was sold in the Contemporary Curated auction at Sothebys in New York in June 2014. The »bidding war« ended at USD 5,313.00 (€ 3,880.93), 52% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Joseph Glasco have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sleepers in March 2009 with an auction result of USD 27,500.00 (€ 20,737.50).

Die Arbeit Ceremony von Joseph Glasco wurde im Juni 2014 in der Auktion Contemporary Curated bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 5.313,00 (€ 3.880,93) und damit 52% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Joseph Glasco auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sleepers im März 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 27.500,00 (€ 20.737,50).
