Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (Head) by Joseph Glasco was sold in the Christie's Interiors auction at Christies in New York in October 2010. It changed hands for a price of USD 750.00 (€ 539.80) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 600.00 – 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joseph Glasco achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sleepers in March 2009 with an auction result of USD 27,500.00 (€ 20,737.50).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Head) von Joseph Glasco wurde im Oktober 2010 in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in New York versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 750,00 (€ 539,80) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 600,00 – 800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Joseph Glasco erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sleepers im März 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 27.500,00 (€ 20.737,50).
