Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2010 a collector was able to acquire the work Bird; and a companion work by Joseph Glasco for USD 62.50 (€ 44.98). This price was achieved in the auction Christie's Interiors at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 700.00 – 900.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joseph Glasco achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sleepers in March 2009 with an auction result of USD 27,500.00 (€ 20,737.50).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2010 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Bird; and a companion work von Joseph Glasco für USD 62,50 (€ 44,98) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 700,00 – 900,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Joseph Glasco erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sleepers im März 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 27.500,00 (€ 20.737,50).
