Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2019 Koller held the auction Grafik & Multiples, which included the work Multiple. 1991. by Josef Staub. The price achieved of CHF 1,125.00 (€ 1,035.42) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as CHF 900.00 – 1,400.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Josef Staub achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Apollo in May 2011 with an auction result of EUR 30,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2019 führte Koller die Auktion Grafik & Multiples durch, in der auch die Arbeit Multiple. 1991. von Josef Staub zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von CHF 1.125,00 (€ 1.035,42) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit CHF 900,00 – 1.400,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Josef Staub erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Apollo im Mai 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 30.000,00.
