Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work An October Morning by José Weiss was sold in the British and Continental Pictures and Prints auction at Christies in London in May 2006. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 504.00 (€ 735.68). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by José Weiss achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work September On The Arun in October 2013 with an auction result of USD 15,000.00 (€ 11,034.28).

Die Arbeit An October Morning von José Weiss wurde im Mai 2006 in der Auktion British and Continental Pictures and Prints bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 504,00 (€ 735,68) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von José Weiss erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit September On The Arun im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 15.000,00 (€ 11.034,28).
