In January 2013 Christies in London held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work October On The Arun; And A River Landscape by José Weiss. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 2,125.00 (€ 2,480.42), 42% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by José Weiss have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work September On The Arun in October 2013 with an auction result of USD 15,000.00 (€ 11,034.28).

Im Januar 2013 führte Christies in London die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit October On The Arun; And A River Landscape von José Weiss zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 2.125,00 (€ 2.480,42) und damit 42% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von José Weiss auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit September On The Arun im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 15.000,00 (€ 11.034,28).
