A top price for José Weiss - as previously expected
In October 2013 Christies in New York held the auction 19th Century European Art, which included the work September On The Arun by José Weiss. The auction ended at the price of USD 15,000.00 (€ 11,034.28), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, September On The Arun is the most expensive artwork by José Weiss that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Oktober 2013 führte Christies in New York die Auktion 19th Century European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit September On The Arun von José Weiss zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 15.000,00 (€ 11.034,28) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist September On The Arun das teuerste Kunstwerk von José Weiss, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
