Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In August 2006 Christies in London held the auction British, Continental and Russian Pictures, which included the work A summer's day by the river; and A cottage at twilight by José Weiss. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 600.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 660.00 (€ 981.46). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by José Weiss achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work September On The Arun in October 2013 with an auction result of USD 15,000.00 (€ 11,034.28).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im August 2006 führte Christies in London die Auktion British, Continental and Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit A summer's day by the river; and A cottage at twilight von José Weiss zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 600,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 660,00 (€ 981,46) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von José Weiss erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit September On The Arun im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 15.000,00 (€ 11.034,28).
