Auction result well in line with expectations
In March last year Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Discoveries, which included the work Sin título (from the series Ventanas) by José Angel Rosabal. The price achieved of USD 25,200.00 (€ 22,717.03) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Other works by José Angel Rosabal have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2015 the work Untitled (From The Series Figuras Geométricas) was auctioned for USD 32,500.00 (€ 30,770.69).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März letzten Jahres führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Contemporary Discoveries durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sin título (from the series Ventanas) von José Angel Rosabal zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 25.200,00 (€ 22.717,03) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von José Angel Rosabal konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2015 die Arbeit Untitled (From The Series Figuras Geométricas) für USD 32.500,00 (€ 30.770,69) versteigert.
