Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Composition with Orange by José Angel Rosabal was sold in the Latin America auction at Phillips in New York in November 2017. The price achieved of USD 16,250.00 (€ 13,657.76) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by José Angel Rosabal - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled (From The Series Figuras Geométricas), which sold at auction in November 2015 for USD 32,500.00 (€ 30,770.69).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Composition with Orange von José Angel Rosabal wurde im November 2017 in der Auktion Latin America bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 16.250,00 (€ 13.657,76) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von José Angel Rosabal mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled (From The Series Figuras Geométricas) beobachtet, die im November 2015 für USD 32.500,00 (€ 30.770,69) versteigert wurde.
