Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2018 Christies in New York held the auction Latin American Art, which included the work Skyline by José Angel Rosabal. The price achieved of USD 13,750.00 (€ 11,782.35) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by José Angel Rosabal - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled (From The Series Figuras Geométricas), which sold at auction in November 2015 for USD 32,500.00 (€ 30,770.69).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2018 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Latin American Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Skyline von José Angel Rosabal zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 13.750,00 (€ 11.782,35) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von José Angel Rosabal mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled (From The Series Figuras Geométricas) beobachtet, die im November 2015 für USD 32.500,00 (€ 30.770,69) versteigert wurde.
