Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Portrait of Mrs James Beevor, bust-length, in a white dress with a green sash and a white lace bonnet by John Theodore Heins was sold in the BRITISH AND VICTORIAN PICTURES auction at Christies in London in September 2000. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 822.50 (€ 1,376.29) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by John Theodore Heins have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait of Lucy, Lady Gage, daughter of William Knight, half-length, in an oyster satin dress and blue wrap, with a feathered headdress, feigned oval in November 2003 with an auction result of GBP 6,214.00 (€ 8,920.29).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Portrait of Mrs James Beevor, bust-length, in a white dress with a green sash and a white lace bonnet von John Theodore Heins wurde im September 2000 in der Auktion BRITISH AND VICTORIAN PICTURES bei Christies in London versteigert.
