Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2013 Christies in London held the auction The Collection of Professor Sir Albert Richardson, P.R.A., which included the work Portrait of John Harvey (1699-1750), three-quarter-length, in a brown coat and gold embroidered waistcoat, beside a green draped table with a letter by John Theodore Heins. The price achieved of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,976.73) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Other works by John Theodore Heins have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2003 the work Portrait of Lucy, Lady Gage, daughter of William Knight, half-length, in an oyster satin dress and blue wrap, with a feathered headdress, feigned oval was auctioned for GBP 6,214.00 (€ 8,920.29).

Im September 2013 führte Christies in London die Auktion The Collection of Professor Sir Albert Richardson, P.R.A. durch, in der auch die Arbeit Portrait of John Harvey (1699-1750), three-quarter-length, in a brown coat and gold embroidered waistcoat, beside a green draped table with a letter von John Theodore Heins zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 5.976,73) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden.
