However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by John Ruskin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Bellinzona, Switzerland, looking north towards the St. Gotthard pass, which sold at auction in November 2003 for GBP 274,050.00 (€ 393,402.83).
