Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by John Plumb could be acquired at Sothebys in London in November 2014 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Modern & Post-War British Art auction, the work Sherwood changed hands for GBP 11,875.00 (€ 14,930.15) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Other works by John Plumb have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in November 2019 by the work Colour Barrier at GBP 23,750.00 (€ 27,888.31).
