This work without title by John Plumb was sold in the London ColourModern British Art Online auction at Bonhams in April this year. It achieved a price of GBP 7,650.00 (€ 8,718.51), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 28%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by John Plumb - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Colour Barrier, which sold at auction in November 2019 for GBP 23,750.00 (€ 27,888.31).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von John Plumb wurde im April diesen Jahres in der Auktion London ColourModern British Art Online bei Bonhams versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 7.650,00 (€ 8.718,51) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 28%. Für andere Arbeiten von John Plumb mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Colour Barrier beobachtet, die im November 2019 für GBP 23.750,00 (€ 27.888,31) versteigert wurde.
