Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In April this year Christies in New York held the auction The Sale of the Century: An Important Corporate Collection of Prints and Multiples: Online, which included this untitled work by John McLaughlin. Here, the upper estimate of USD 7,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 7,560.00 (€ 6,847.83). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by John McLaughlin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work V-1957 in September 2017 with an auction result of USD 516,500.00 (€ 437,230.17).
