In May 2014 Christies in New York held the auction Post-War and Contemporary Morning Session, which included the work Woman with Billowing Hair by John Graham. The result of USD 100,000.00 (€ 73,313.78) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by John Graham achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Woman with Dodecahedron in November 2007 with an auction result of USD 1,609,000.00 (€ 1,095,452.07).

Im Mai 2014 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Morning Session durch, in der auch die Arbeit Woman with Billowing Hair von John Graham zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 100.000,00 (€ 73.313,78) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 100.000,00 – 150.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von John Graham erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Woman with Dodecahedron im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.609.000,00 (€ 1.095.452,07).
