This work without title by John Golding was auctioned at Sothebys in London in September 2018. It achieved a price of GBP 2,125.00 (€ 2,386.65), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 42%. Admittedly, works by John Golding have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work G.(R.F.) I in November 2019 with an auction result of GBP 16,250.00 (€ 19,081.47).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von John Golding kam im September 2018 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 2.125,00 (€ 2.386,65) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 42%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von John Golding auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit G.(R.F.) I im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 16.250,00 (€ 19.081,47).
