Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Drawing 86/8 by John Golding was auctioned at Bonhams in Los Angeles in July this year. The price achieved of GBP 1,152.00 (€ 1,344.03) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by John Golding achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work G.(R.F.) I in November 2019 with an auction result of GBP 16,250.00 (€ 19,081.47).

Die Arbeit Drawing 86/8 von John Golding kam im Juli diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Los Angeles zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.152,00 (€ 1.344,03) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von John Golding erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit G.(R.F.) I im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 16.250,00 (€ 19.081,47).
