In the Maritime auction, the work Morning, Denham harbor from the North; Morning after a storm, wrecks ashore Tynemouth, Northumberland changed hands for USD 597.50 (€ 609.94) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by John Callow achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Shipping At Anchor Off The Coast in December 2006 with an auction result of GBP 13,200.00 (€ 19,590.45).
