In the Collections, Including Selected Items From The Estate of Lord Eden of Winton auction, the work Waterfall in a Rocky Gorge sold for GBP 614.40 (€ 715.06) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 300.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by John Brandon Smith achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A waterfall in a wooded river valley in November 2000 with an auction result of GBP 5,875.00 (€ 9,602.46).
