Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2019 Phillips in New York held the auction Evening & Day Editions, which included the work Who Chicago?; and I Have Been Waiting! by Jim Nutt. It changed hands for a price of USD 2,375.00 (€ 2,129.09) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 1,500.00 – 2,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jim Nutt achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Tooth" in October last year with an auction result of SEK 10,500,000.00 (€ 960,791.22).
