Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Jessica Stockholder was sold in the Contemporary Art Part II auction at Phillips in New York in November 2010. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 8,125.00 (€ 6,232.74) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Jessica Stockholder have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in February 2011 the work without title was auctioned for GBP 8,750.00 (€ 10,306.77).
