The work (i) We Might Not Have Girlfriends but We Know How to Have a Good Time (ii) A Girl I Fancied but Never Told by Jeremy Deller was auctioned at Christies in London in March 2012. The result of GBP 1,000.00 (€ 1,198.82) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jeremy Deller achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Uses of Literacy in June 2008 with an auction result of GBP 61,250.00 (€ 77,422.05).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit (i) We Might Not Have Girlfriends but We Know How to Have a Good Time (ii) A Girl I Fancied but Never Told von Jeremy Deller kam im März 2012 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 1.000,00 (€ 1.198,82) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jeremy Deller erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Uses of Literacy im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 61.250,00 (€ 77.422,05).
