Auction result misses estimated price range
When this work without title by Jens Fänge was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in November 2020, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 30,000.00 – 40,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 27,000.00 (€ 2,639.44). Admittedly, works by Jens Fänge have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Gata" in April 2021 with an auction result of SEK 190,000.00 (€ 18,684.12).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Jens Fänge im November 2020 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 30.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 27.000,00 (€ 2.639,44) den Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jens Fänge auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Gata" im April 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 190.000,00 (€ 18.684,12).
