Sold at the lower estimate price
In April 2019 Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Contemporary Art & Design, which included the work "Ball and Claw" by Jens Fänge. The result of SEK 70,000.00 (€ 6,574.41) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 70,000.00 – 90,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jens Fänge - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work "Gata", which sold at auction in April 2021 for SEK 190,000.00 (€ 18,684.12).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im April 2019 führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Contemporary Art & Design durch, in der auch die Arbeit "Ball and Claw" von Jens Fänge zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von SEK 70.000,00 (€ 6.574,41) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 70.000,00 – 90.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Jens Fänge mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit "Gata" beobachtet, die im April 2021 für SEK 190.000,00 (€ 18.684,12) versteigert wurde.
