Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Jeff Elrod was auctioned at Christies in New York in March 2020. The price achieved of USD 81,250.00 (€ 73,669.42) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 70,000.00 – 100,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jeff Elrod have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Echo Painting (B/W) in June 2015 with an auction result of GBP 218,500.00 (€ 308,082.26).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Jeff Elrod kam im März 2020 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 81.250,00 (€ 73.669,42) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 70.000,00 – 100.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jeff Elrod auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Echo Painting (B/W) im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 218.500,00 (€ 308.082,26).
