Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Echo Painting (Green) by Jeff Elrod was sold in the Contemporary Art | New York auction at Sothebys in New York in December 2021. The price achieved of USD 63,000.00 (€ 55,663.54) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jeff Elrod have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Echo Painting (B/W) in June 2015 with an auction result of GBP 218,500.00 (€ 308,082.26).
